Abstract | Immunoprecipitation of radiolabeled antigens with bovine antisera indicated that many Babesia bigemina and Babesia bovis merozoite proteins contain isolate-common epitopes, while at least 16 B. bigemina and 8 B. bovis proteins contain species-cross-reactive epitopes. One immunogenic, isolate-common, and species-specific candidate diagnostic protein from each species was identified. |
