Announcing the Keystone Symposia Conference on “Innate Immune Receptors: Roles in Immunology and Beyond”

Submit an abstract and register today for Keystone Symposia’s upcoming conference on “Innate Immune Receptors: Roles in Immunology and Beyond”scheduled for March 10-14, 2019 at Academia Sinica (Humanities/Social Sciences building) in Taipei, Taiwan. The conference was developed in collaboration with Academia Sirica and is Keystone Symposia’s first in Taiwan and its first innate immunity conference in Asia.

Organized by Drs. Jenny P.Y. Ting of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Shie-Liang Edmond Hsieh of Academia Sinica, Fu-Tong Liu of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of Academia Sinica, Michael Gale, Jr. of the University of Washington and Siamon Gordon of Chang Gung University and the University of Oxford, the four-day conference will:

  1. Explore new and transformative translational research regarding the divergence of innate immune receptors and their roles in controlling diseases and regulating the microbiome;
  2. Present and discuss new evidence regarding the novel roles of innate immunity in cells other than those in the innate immune system;
  3. Encourage and facilitate collaboration across borders and continents, as well as provide an international venue for young investigators and trainees to present their work, meet key investigators in the field and network with others.

Scholarships, requiring submission of an abstract, are available to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from any nation. Short talk speakers will be chosen from all abstracts submitted by the abstract deadline.

  • Scholarship Applications and Discounted Abstract – November 13, 2018
  • Abstract – December 11, 2018
  • Discounted Registration – January 17, 2019
